Stitch Party Studio in Madison, NC is a quilt and fabric shop offering 100% cotton quality fabrics, batting, notions, books & patterns for the traditional or modern quilter or sewer. Our objective is to promote quilt making to all ages in a fun environment using today's techniques while honoring the heritage of yesterday's quilt makers. We offer lots of inspiration through our beautiful patterned quilts and fabrics that are irresistible.

It started as a gathering place for all who enjoy sewing and the art of quilt making.

​

Since about 1998, I have taught all levels & ages of quilters at various quilt shops, guilds, summer programs and retreats in NC, SC and VA. After teaching quilt making at Rockingham Community College for 7 years, I decided it was time to find a location where I could have everything my students needed in one spot.

​

After considering many different locations, we found a great space to open a teaching studio for sewing and quilt making classes in historical downtown Madison, N.C. In the summer of 2013, Bob hung & displayed quilts and setup a classroom for my students.

​

We invited just a few people to our first Sip 'n See, an open house of sorts; where they could take a look at the next months' class offerings, have a sip, and usually something from the bakery next door & sign up or just chat with friends.

​

Now here we are, thanks to our customers/students who have become our friends and have encouraged us along the way.
